What’s it all about?
This blog has been set up for one purpose, and one purpose only – to store in one easily accessible place every decent piece of revolutionary political writing that flows from the pen (or keyboard, more accurately but less pleasant sounding) of Alastair Reith, the great Marxist writer and activist.
They follow a roughly chronological order, and will consist largely of articles I’ve written for The Spark, the newspaper of the Workers Party of New Zealand. However, there’ll be a few other titbits thrown in here and there, so keep you’re eyes open.
If you’re of the capitalist persuasion, hopefully they make you so angry you burst a blood vessel in you’re brain and die a prolonged and agonising death.
If not, feel free to read them, enjoy them, comment on them, and allow them to inspire and uplift you to the point of running into the street waving a red flag and shouting “Revolutioooooooooon!”.
Have fun, and make sure you follow the links to check out the Spark blog, website of the Workers Party of New Zealand. As an objective, unbiased observer, I can say with full confidence that they’re the socialist group to be a part of in modern day Aotearoa/New Zealand.
Workers of All Countries Unite! etc
Well, well Alastair – there’s nothing quite like googling your family members to see what they’re up to! It’s great to see that your putting so much effort into sharing your passion for politics and justice. Have fun and keep your pen sharp! Kylie
